SEPS Event March 2010 at N'Tense Sports

First round of the SEPS season! We decided to play in “OPEN” class because I thought Chris and John were both D3 players. Come to find out, John had been re-classed to D4 due to his time off last year. Only won 2 of our 6 prelim games. 6 teams total in the Open Div.

Stan, Adam, and Cowlick were on the roster for Team Shooters for this event. The day started on a roll in the prelims. Winning our first four games of the day, and making it through three of those with perfect 100’s. We lost the last two games of the prelims, but made it into the semi round at 5th place overall. We got placed in a great group of teams for the semi round. We had to play three games, one vs. Blitzkrieg, Nashvillians, and Major Welt. We lost the first game against Blitskrieg, but managed to get some points. Our second game against Nashvillians was a perfect 100 pts. Cowlick bunkered their last guy without a hopper! Went musket-ball on him! Our last game in the semi round ended when Cowlick ran the field and got rid of all three players in a matter of seconds! But there was some drama.... The first Major Welt player complained that Cowlick played on after he bunkered him. After much discussion it was decided that it would be a captain vs. captain 1v1 to decide the victor. We needed the points to make it to the finals. So it was all up to Stainless..... Stan pulled out the 1v1 victory for Team Shooters! So on to the final four! In the finals we got to play the best of the day! EZ Factory, Major Welt, and Axis. Team Shooters finished the finals 3-0. That put us in 1st place for the day! It was a great day overall for Paintball. There were over 100 games played and a lot of great teams. It was some of the best paintball Team Shooters has played ever. Check out the photos from the event in the Photo Gallery.
