Pride 3-man Event May 2010 at Yellow Jacket Paintball

One of the hottest Paintball days for sure! Temp was in the 90’s. Thank goodness no one passed out! Roster was me (Stainless), Chris (CashMoney), John (Cow) and Andrew Zorn. Well, our day did not start off well. We lost 2 of our first 4 games. And with only about 12 teams on the list, we needed 2 more wins. Our draw was no “walk in the park”. We played some of the best teams around, 65 South, Blitzkrieg, YJP Home Cookin’, Mid South Mafia and MTP. Game 5-WIN, Game 6-WIN! We now knew we were close to the finals. With such few teams, only the TOP 4 were going on to the finals. Well, 2 teams tied for fourth, but we were ranked THIRD, we made it in. Our next 3 games of the finals were all about letting loose and having a good time. We made it this far, so let’s get out there and do our jobs! Well, we won 2 of the 3 with max 100 points, and maybe got only one elimination on the other game. Normally it takes 3 wins to get FIRST. If you win 2 of 3, then easy SECOND place. Well, while we were loading up the trailer, they called out third place, hum, not us. Then second place, not us again. We were thinking no way we got fourth! Then BAM, SHOOTERS take FIRST! Wow, what a day. Couldn’t have gone any better. My thanks to Chris (CashMoney), John (Cow) and our pick up player of the day “Andrew Zorn”. Of course after the day was over, Andrew made the comment that when he and Chris play together (PSP stuff) they always WIN. It told Andrew, if he would have just told me that earlier in the day, I could have relaxed a little!

The April SEPS at Yellow Jacket Paintball is always one of the best events of the series. KP and the team at YJP always run a great event. The weather could not have been better for paintball in April. 72 with a light breeze... Very nice! The April SEPS at Yellow Jacket Paintball is always one of the best events of the series. KP and the team at YJP always run a great event. The weather could not have been better for paintball in April. 72 with a light breeze... Very nice! This month Adam, Stan, Chris, Billy, Ruben and Cowlick all played for Team Shooters. We finished the prelims with a 4-2 record and went into the semis in 4th place. The semi-finals did not start until 5:45. We finished the semis and made it to the final four. We played our last game at 7:45! Needless to say, paintball is not a sport you play in the dark. We finished the day in 2nd and can’t wait to go for 1st next moth at Asylum Paintball in Louisville, KY. We have posted some pics in the photo gallery, but check back for more in the coming days. It was a good day and we look forward to the next event! If you didn’t tune into the Live! Event you missed some good stuff. Adam sent updates throughout the day of our progress. We got a lot of great feedback and plan to continue this in the future. You can follow our live feeds every event HERE.

SEPS Event March 2010 at N'Tense Sports

First round of the SEPS season! We decided to play in “OPEN” class because I thought Chris and John were both D3 players. Come to find out, John had been re-classed to D4 due to his time off last year. Only won 2 of our 6 prelim games. 6 teams total in the Open Div. 6 teams total in the Open Div. With all of that we actually only missed the finals (top 4) by 25 points. That’s a flag grab and 1 elimination. Or 3 more eliminated players. All in All, EVERYONE played well. Weather was overcast, cold and few raindrops. Most of us had some gun or equipment issues effecting our games. Typical for first tourney of the year. After setting the roster, Adam and John couldn’t make it, so I had to scramble to pick up 3 more guys. The final roster was Stainless, Ca$h Money, Reuben, Alan and Billy. I recruited Billy off PBNation as a pick up player. He did well and will be great addition to the team this year. He is a EMT near Evansville Indiana. Was in the game strong many years ago and now back in! I also persuaded Alan and Reuben to pick up with us this tournament. We had a great time overall. Brent and Mark run a super event with little to no drama. THANKS GUYS!
